In order to have a better connection on the room we chose. We decide to use a Star Network which is very common when designing network connection on a room. Star Network consists of one central switch, hub or computer, which acts as a conduit to transmit messages on its simplest form. But on our design, we make a star network inside a star network.
-Advantages
- Good performance
- Easy to set up and to expand. Any non-centralized failure will have very little effect on the network, whereas on a ring network it would all fail with one fault
-Disadvantages
- Expensive to install
- Extra hardware required
